General Purpose Handset has been designed to act as a lightweight handset for use by military personnel.
The main features of the handset are:
A dynamic, moving-coil, communications receive earphone
A Noise canceling electret microphone mounted on an adjustable boom
A pressel switch integrated into the body of the handset
A down lead cable terminated in a Pattern 105, 7 pin, Clansman connector
