The mode / SQ pin . On UK MOD sets that have been modified (1) . on a dual ptt you get a hi/low tone on TX in your headphone that repeats every five seconds...
it can be stopped by taking the mode pin the ground via a 10k resistor. This only happens on a later set and with a dual ptt
Речь идет о 12м пине.

Hello everyone, first of all congratulations on the photo and all the collaborators.
I am trying to make the cable to connect a selex radio, PRC h4855 with dual PTT and a TRI PRC-152. I have problems to make the union. I managed to speak for the Bowman's microphone through the selex and broadcast by the Prc152, but I can not hear.
I do not know if I am following the scheme of union between them well.
Can you help me?

Thank you

Hello Juanan,
Please check your wirings:
U329 - H4855
A - Rlack, Blue (GND)
B - Yellow (speaker)
C - White (PTT)
D - Green (mic)
E - Black, Blue (GND)
F - Red (+5V...+12V)

A and E on U329 should be shortened and connected to both Black and Blue wires.
For using F directly from TRI PRC-152/148 you need to modify your TRI PRC-152/148 radio, internally connecting +5V inside the radio to contact F on U283 connector on the radio. It's tricky but possible, I've done this on both mine TRI's 148 and 152.
In case you do not want to modify your 152/148 - use wiring above without F contact, but it will work only when your H4855 is switched on.
Also you can use it's with external power (from +5V to +12V, for example battery +9V) on Red wire, connecting 2 wires inside connector U329 to Black (GND) and Red (+) wires and protruding them to connect to external +9V battery.

Cheers!
