Sapper A, the youngest engineer currently deployed to the Special Operations Task Group cuts a cake with the Special Operations Task Group Commanding Officer at a ceremony to mark the raising of the Special Operations Engineer Regiment at Camp Russell, Tarin Kot. Mid Caption: The Special Operations Task Group (SOTG) has marked the raising of the Special Operations Engineer Regiment (SOER) with a small ceremony at Camp Russell, Tarin Kot. The SOER became the newest Unit in the Army after the Incident Response Regiment was retired from the Army's Order of Battle on 24 February 2012. Sapper Robinson was serving with the Special Operations Task Group when he was tragically killed in action on Monday 6 June 2011 (Afghanistan time).
